Strategies....
Nowadays there is much attention for things like Venture Philanthropy, Microcredit and Micro everything.
The word 'aid' is out and terms like 'exit strategy' and 'scaling up' are in.....
Oud in Afrika is supporting elderly people. Aid that is needed.
Simple and small scale till the very end.....
And when one of the supported elderly people passes on there is still no exit strategy.
We know there is somebody waiting and we move on with our work.

This has to do with the raw meaning of life. What can we learn from them?
There is very little room in our western society to learn from our elderly people. They have learned the difference between knowledge and wisdom, by heart, by life. By the end of a life-time, only the essential things remain...what have you learned from this life? what would you like to share about it?
It think, we have to start putting effort in our own listening process, what can I learn from them?
